I was surprised to find out about some household items that can multi-task and be used as cleaning supplies. Here’s a list of 9 products that you already have in your home to clean stains and spots.

1) SHAVING CREAM

Did you know you could remove stains from the carpet with shaving cream? It’s true! The foam breaks down the grease sticking to the fibers making cleaning carpets a breeze.

2) ICE CUBES

Did you know that ice cubes are the best solution to remove gum out of your carpet or furniture upholstery? Just hold an ice cube on the gum for at least 30 seconds. It will harden and be easier to scrape it off the fibers. (Peanut butter works too!)ice cubes

3) WHITE BREAD

Did you know you could use white bread to get any greasy fingerprints off your walls? Just rub a slice of white bread over the stains and they will simply disappear! The absorbent nature of the bread is a natural grime cleaner.
