Want to spend the night in an Alpine cable car?

I love to travel, so when I learned about how you can spend the night in an Alpine cable car suspended at 9,000 feet in the French Alps I just had to share the info with you. The night in heaven is part of Airbnb’s “A Night At” competition. The winner along with up to three companions will stay inside a cable car that has been transformed into a luxury two-bedroom apartment suspended over the Alps. The prize also includes a dinner feast above the clouds surrounded by the breathtaking views of La Saulire, the highest point in Courchevel.
All you have to do to win is go to the Airbnb website and submit a 100 word essay (in English or French) on why you should be chosen for this amazing adventure. You will also need to be available to travel to France for this one-night experience of a lifetime on March 6 -7, 2015.
Imagine waking in the morning high over the famous Courchevel ski slopes. You’ll be in the perfect position to hit the slopes nice and early in the morning on March 7 at the world famous ski resort located in the 3 Vallées: the largest skiable area in the world. 
You can enter the contest through 11:59pm, Wednesday, February 25. If you do win (and my fingers are crossed for you), all the unique resort asks is that guests: “Please do not call asking for more ice,” and “Please leave your feedback on a foggy window.” They also caution: vertigo sufferers need not apply.
Airbnb’s “A Night At” campaigns give contestants the opportunity to stay in unconventional places like this Alpine cable car. In the past, those lodgings have included a KLM Airplane Loft, Ikea, Catherine de’ Medici’s castle and The Galeries Lafayette in Paris.
